30A – Final Reflection

  1. I feel like I was very nervous about my idea when I first started it, but as time passed and I worked on it more, I began to get more and more excited for seeing the possibility of my idea being a possibility, and how my improvements and expansions to my idea kept growing. It was fun seeing how simple it was, and how it kept growing and growing into something I am proud of. Only moments of dread was waiting until late at night to do the assignments. Like now for example, it is almost four in the morning, and I was going to go to sleep, but then remembered I had to do this, and want to sleep in so figured I should just do it now.
  2. I think the most formative was writing my initial venture concept, because that is where I really began to think and expand on my idea. The most joyous would be the positive feedback, which motivated me to continue and expand my idea.
  3. I do see myself as an entrepreneur with a entrepreneurial mindset, because this class showed me to think outside the box, and to never stop looking for problems and solutions, and to always keep improving.
  4. I would recommend to think freely, and that no idea is a bad idea when thinking of solutions and improvements. Some ideas I had I originally thought they were really bad, but as I began to dig deeper and expand them, found them to be very helpful for my business concept. I also would say not to wait until the last minute to do assignments, so you have time to develop your ideas.

    1. Dear Matthew,

I think you have written an insightful and informational final reflection. I believe it is common yo be nervous about your idea when you first start. I had a little trouble deciding which idea was the best to run with for this class. I, too, liked writing my initial venture concept. I also enjoyed getting feedback that would motivate me.

  2. Hey Matthew,

I really like your final reflection. It is a holistic and insightful look at this past semester. I think everyone was nervous about creating their idea. For me, I knew from the beginning that mine wouldn't make a ton of money but it was something I would enjoy creating and explaining. I also see myself having a more entrepreneurial mindset after this class. In my opinion, this class helped us by having us view supply and demands in a different light. Nice advice too! I love how you advised to think freely as that it important in this class. Great job and good luck in your future endeavors!
