16A –What’s Your Secret Sauce?
1. I think the first thing that makes me have human capital is that I like to socialize and can read people very easily in order to tailor the conversation towards them. The second way that I think I have unique human capital is that I always try to think of creative solutions to problems. I believe that there is always a more efficient way to do thinks, and am constantly seeking these better alternatives. The third way that I think I have unique human capital is that I get very board when I am sitting around doing nothing. This means I am always trying to find work to do, and gave me a good work ethic, for when I am at work and my coworkers are sitting around, my bosses are usually impressed that I go out of my way to find thing to be productive with. The fourth way that I have human capital is that I always am looking out for other people, and want to help anyone in need. This can be from simple things such as listening to someone rant when they need it, to going out of my way to help jump start a friend’s car. The fifth way I have human capital is that I am good with networking. I have had multiple internship offers for this summer, and I feel like it’s not because my resume or academics is anything special, it is just that I am good with networking and making connections.
2. I posted all my interviews below. My first interview was with my father. He highlighted my independent attitude and strong work ethic. My key take away was seeing how I am always willing to put in the work and get things done. My second interview was with my Mom. She highlighted how I am very sociable and get along with people. My key take away was that I connected it with my previous point of being able to network very well with others. My third interview was with my sister Carrie. She highlighted how I am always joking around. My key take away was that I do like keeping a pleasant mood and always try to make people laugh. My fourth interview was with my brother John. He talked about how I always try to think of creative solutions to problems. My takeaway was connecting it with what I said before about always looking for better ways to do things. My fifth interview was with my friend and current roommate Tpatt. He talked about how I like to bring different ideas to conversations. This reminded me of what I stated earlier about being good at holding conversations and tailoring them to different people.
3. I am very happy with how others see me. They all referenced something on my list, which shows me I am very open with people. First, I thought I would have to change my list thinking I was being to generous towards myself, but seeing how the people I interviewed agreed with it makes me confident. It would be interesting to u=interview people who I have not opened up to yet and see how differently my list would be, but as of now I would keep everything.

Many if not all of the things on your list can be very helpful in a business like the fact that you can read people and think of creative solutions to a problem. These will definitely help you a lot.
Hey Matthew! First off, great job at a thoroughly looking at your capital. I think you looked at many different aspects which shows that you are holistic. I can relate to you on saying that the people you interviewed confirmed some of the things that you thought about yourself. In my interviews, I felt the same way.
